Dr Duduzile Dlamini-Boemah did both her primary and high school education in KwaZulu- Natal. She further did her tertiary studies in various Universities in South Africa and abroad. Her initial interest was Geography, Education and Environmental Management. Later she acquired interest in Tourism and pursued her PhD studies in Tourism Management with the University of Pretoria which she obtained. Her research interest is in interpretive guiding, environmental education, educational tourism and climate change in tourism. She has published papers on interpretive guiding and presented conference papers national and internationally. She is an external examiner in tourism and environmental education of many South African Universities.

Prof Jan Buscop has been involved in the teaching profession for over 30 years. His fields of interest includes Strategic Tourism Marketing and Personal and Corporate Financial Management. He assists individuals and businesses with financial planning and management.
A senior lecturer in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Tourism Department at North West University. Area of specialisation include tourism management, tourism development, destinations, marketing and research. Additionally she worked for the City Of Cape Town; Tourism Department and worked also for the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture in Lesotho. Her main deliverables were establishments and support of tourism products and community awareness on tourism.
