Dr. Caleb M. ADELOWO is a Director of Research and former head of Science Policy Research and Innovation Studies Department at the National Centre for Technology Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, a 'think tank' Agency of government. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa, where he was appointed an Extra-ordinary Special Researcher in 2023. He holds M.Sc. and PhD in Technology Management from the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation Obafemi Awolowo University. He obtained a master’s degree in intellectual property from the Africa University, Zimbabwe through a World Intellectual Property Organisation scholarship in 2010. He was an Africalics PhD Scholar at Aalborg University, Denmark in 2016. His teaching and research focus on entrepreneurship and innovation management, particularly bridging innovation gaps within the context of developing countries. He has supervised a few postgraduate candidates and mentored four PhD Fellows in innovation and development studies. He has coordinated several research projects, won many research and travel grants, published articles in high-impact journals, and presented papers at local and international conferences. He is open to collaboration in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation management.
