• 2025 Sep 18-19: UARM821 Behavioural Risk contact session held at the Southern Sun Rosebank hotel. Dr Fred Goede was the module lead and former Prof. Hermien Zaaiman partook as guest speaker.

• 2025 Sep 14-17: UARM delegates at the South African Institute for Management Sciences (SAIMS 2025) Conference at the Sun City Convention Centre. • 2025 Jul 19: Mini-Dissertation Inferential Statistics Workshop for students doing a quantitative study. Conducted by Prof. Neels Erasmus at the Southern Sun Rosebank hotel.

•  2025 Apr 22-25: USIBA 2025 - An immersive four-day writing retreat organised by Optentia. Designed to enhance research skills, writing productivity, and overall scholar well-being. It was hosted at the Khaya iBhubesi Conference Centre, which offered an opportunity for candidates to refine dissertation, thesis, or research articles while engaging in expert-led workshops, hands-on exercises, and collaborative discussions. • 2023 Jul 6: MARM M2 Kerlick Writing Retreat, during which the students spend an intensive three days under guidance working on their mini-dissertations.
