Dr Vikas Sharma holds an MBA in Finance and a PhD in Management, specializing in accounting, finance, and organizational studies. His doctoral research on consumer behavior in the life insurance industry strengthened his expertise in financial decision-making and governance. With more than 17 years of academic and administrative experience, he currently serves as a regular professor of finance at the University School of Business, Chandigarh University, Mohali, India (140413). He also holds an international academic affiliation with the Department of Statistics, Finance and Controlling, Széchenyi István University, Győr, Hungary (Egyetem tér 1). Professor Sharma has gained global academic exposure through collaborations and engagements in South Africa and Poland. He has authored more than 12 Q1/Q2 journal articles, co-edited scholarly volumes with leading publishers, and actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer and editor for several reputed international journals.
