Advisory services

 Business people are given the opportunity to have confidential on-site discussions with an objective and knowledgeable outsider

More than eighty percent of the consultation and advisory services are rendered to previously disadvantage new and existing business people.  Whereas the more sophisticated business people, who are a minority, can at least contribute towards a portion of the costs involved, the experience is that the majority of business people can make no contribution whatsoever.

Counselling and advisory services include the following:
  • General on-site consultations;
  • Specific on-site consultations;
  • Office consultations;
  • After-care and follow-up visits (mentoring); and
  • Telephonic and written advice.
The SBAB provides assistance to all business people. These include businesses from the following sectors, which are privately and independently owned:
  • Commerce
  • Services
  • Industrial
  • Professional practices
  • Informal sector

As part of the services mentioned above, business people are given the opportunity to have confidential on-site discussions with an objective and knowledgeable outsider. Through this process, mutual development and support takes place and valuable suggestions, information and experiences are shared and exchanged.
