Our research focusing on the culinary festival and event visitors includes marketing and economic impact analyses as well as the markets information preferences, their environmentally friendly behaviour, motivations, memorable experiences and behavioural intentions. This research makes valuable theoretical and practical contributions aimed at not only South Africa, but the strategies proposed in the research can be used by other developing countries wanting to expand on culinary tourism.
