Ms Brigitte Oeppinger-Walchshofer (Austria), Mr Maarten Smeets (WTO) and Ms Hantie Hoogkamer (NWDC) Students from the Mafikeng and Potchefstroom campuses of the North-West University attended the lecture The lectures took place in Room K01 of building E5 at 10:30-12:00. Mr. Roeland van de Geer (European Union) Prof Wilma Viviers, recipient of the WTO Chair, welcomes everyone to the lecture Prof Dan Kgwadi, Vice-Rector of the North-West University, was also in attendance Delegates from the EU sat together with students during the lecture WTO Deputy Director-General Mr David Shark with Prof Dan Kgwadi Members of the TRADE team also attended the lecture, Mr Requier Wait, Dr Sonja Grater, Ms Alicia Fourie and Ms Carli Bezuidenhout WTO DDG Mr David Shark gave a lecture on EU-South Africa relations. Prof Viviers thanked Mr Shark and introduced the new speaker H.E. Mr. Roeland van de Geer (Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of South Africa - 2014) also spoke to the students.
