TRADE team members contribute chapters to recently published books
In addition to Good Capitalism, Bad Capitalism: The Role of Business in South Africa, TRADE team members have also contributed chapters to other books published this year: How the G20 can sustainably help reshape the global trade system: A compilation of analysis (ICTSD) Ms Ali Parry, Prof Wilma Viviers and Dr Adelia Jansen van Rensburg contributed a chapter titled 'Southern Africa and the Digital Challenge: how the G20 Can Influence a Digital Turnaround in the Region'. Financing sustainable development in Africa (Palgrave Macmillan) Mr Emmanuel Orkoh was the lead author of a chapter titled 'Financial inclusion and foreign market participation of firms: A quasi-experiment from Nigeria'. Non-tariff measures: Economic assessment and policy options for development (UNCTAD) Dr Ernst Idsardi and Prof Wilma Viviers contributed a chapter titled 'Agricultural export patterns from Africa to the European Union: Exploring non-tariff measures, product relatedness and market size'. Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Governance (Springer Nature) Prof Ludo Cuyvers was the lead author of a chapter titled 'Governance and Aid'. Monitoring Regional Integration in Southern Africa Yearbook 2017/18 (Tralac) Dr Gabila Nubong contributed a chapter titled 'Regional Economic Communities and the African Union in the pursuit of industrialisation: Interface testing and the creation of synergies in the case of SADC'. Unacceptable Forms of Work: Global Dialogue / Local Innovation (University of Durham) Prof Derick Blaauw was a co-author of a chapter titled 'Casual Work'.
