The Centre was initially supported by NUFFIC (Netherlands organisation for international cooperation in higher education) and initiated in 2011

We offer the following programmes:

  • The Enterprising Women Programme is an 8 Month business support programme aimed at new / early-stage businesses. 
  • The Incubation Programme contributes towards the development of an entrepreneurial culture and increased entrepreneurial activity amongst North West University students, staff and the Vaal Triangle community. This includes: Pre-incubation; Incubation and Entry-level business support.
  • Student entrepreneurship societies: YEBO is a unique student organisation and its aim is to motivate university students to heed the call of entrepreneurship.
  • Leopards Lair Student Competitions: to encourage and support student entrepreneurship
  • Enactus focuses on community based projects and the aim is to too grow the projects, make them sustainable and create jobs.
