Call for abstracts

You are invited to submit an abstract(s) with a maximum of two abstracts per author for the Social Sciences International Research Conference 2023. The abstract needs to fall within one of the conference sub-themes and submissions may not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Process:

Abstract submission closes 1 March 2023. Submitted abstracts will go through a peer review process and authors will be notified of the abstract outcome by 20 March. Authors can submit full papers once the abstract is accepted. Please adhere to the full paper’s final submission date of 1 May 2023. Full papers will go through a double-blind peer review process and after acceptance, authors will be able to present the paper during the conference (either in person/face-to-face OR online. Thereafter, the paper is eligible for publication within the Conference Proceeding with an ISBN. Presentation at the conference and publication in the proceedings are dependent on conference registration, payment and presentation. Only abstracts submitted on the prescribed form will be accepted.

Acknowledgment of receipt of abstracts/paper:

Within three working days of the abstract/paper being successfully submitted, an email will be sent to the presenting author(s) to acknowledge receipt. The author(s) will also be provided with an abstract/paper number that should be stated in all further correspondence.

 

Please take note:

A maximum of two papers per participant is allowed.

(Either 2 as presenter, 2 as co-author or 1 as presenter and 1 as co-author)

A maximum of one paper per doctoral student.

 

Authors may also choose to do a presentation during the conference of their accepted abstracts, which will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

 

Closing date for delegates to submit an abstract is on 1 March 2023
and for full-papers final submission (after abstract was accepted) on 1 May 2023
