Process for SSIRC 2024
Abstract submission closes 15 Feb 2024. Submitted abstracts will go through a peer review process and authors will be notified of the abstract outcome by 20 Feb 2024. Authors can submit full papers once the abstract is accepted. Please adhere to the full paper final submission date of 15 April 2024. Full papers will go through a double-blind peer review process and after acceptance, authors will be able to present the paper during the conference (either in person/face-toface OR online. Thereafter, the paper is eligible for publication within the Conference Proceeding with an ISBN. Presentation at the conference and publication in the proceedings depend on conference registration, payment and presentation. SSIRC 2024 will follow a Hybrid approach Delegates to choose between delivering:
1) A face-to-face presentation at the conference venue or
2) to present virtually on an online platform
Guidelines
You are invited to submit an abstract(s) with a maximum of two abstracts per author for the Social Sciences International Research Conference 2024. The abstract needs to fall within one of the conference sub-themes and submissions may not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
A maximum of two papers per participant allowed. (Either 2 as presenter, 2 as co-author or 1 as co-author). A maximum of one paper per doctoral student. Authors may also choose to do a presentation during the conference of their accepted abstracts, which will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
Disclaimer:
In the event that the face-to-face conference is cancelled due to the pandemic or other unforeseen reasons, the conference will be hosted on a virtual platform and all presentations will be conducted online according to the programme. The Organising Committee takes no responsibility for expenses incurred or lost for airplane tickets or hotel bookings, should the face-to-face conference be cancelled.
