CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2026:

There are 3 categories. Please be sure to check the due dates to qualify for early bird registration.

  1. Early bird, attending only, accompanying persons, students & Mauritian delegates – R9 500
  2. Full delegates & paper presenting author (1st paper) – R10 500
  3. Paper presenting author (2nd paper) – R3 875

Please note that you can pay via the Payment Portal  or via invoicing if your Institution is going to fund you.

If your institution is going to pay for your registration fee, please be sure to fill in the invoicing form to the registration form to simplify this process.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

Delegates may register and pay for the conference once their abstracts have been accepted, which permits attendance and presentation at the conference. However, acceptance of an abstract does not guarantee publication in the conference proceedings; publication is strictly subject to the successful peer review and acceptance of the full paper.

 

This is a HYBRID conference due to popular demand.

Disclaimer: In the event that the face-to-face conference is cancelled due to a pandemic or other unforeseen reasons, the conference will be hosted on a virtual platform and all presentations will be conducted online according to the programme. The Organising Committee takes no responsibility for expenses incurred or lost for airplane tickets or hotel bookings, should the face-to-face conference be cancelled.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Abstract submission for both full paper and work-in-progress: 30 March 2026

Abstract feedback: Two weeks after submission or by 15 April 2026.

Full paper submission: 31 May 2026

Full paper feedback: 6 weeks after submission or by 15 July 2026

Early bird registration: 15 June 2026

Full Paper resubmission (revised version) due: 25 July 2026

Final registration: 31 July 2026

Payment due: 15 August 2026

Final paper submission (for publication, with language editing certificate and publishing agreement): 20 September 2026

Terms and Conditions:

Registration is only confirmed upon full payment.
Early-bird rates apply only if payment is received before the deadline.
The organiser reserves the right to cancel unpaid registrations.

Optional events are subject to minimum participation. 
Should minimum numbers not be reached, the organisers reserve the right to cancel or modify the event. 
Registered participants will be notified and refunded accordingly.

Delegates are responsible for arranging their own visas, where applicable. The organisers will provide supporting documentation upon request but are not liable for visa outcomes.

Cancellations:
Up to 90 days before the event full refund with valid excuse
89 - 60 days 50% refund
59 - 30 days 25% refund 
Less than 30 days no refund.

Disclaimer:
The conference is planned to be held in Mauritius in a hybrid mode (in-person and virtual mode). However, in the event that participants are unable to travel due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers, including but not limited to visa restrictions, travel disruptions, health-related concerns, or force majeure, the organisers shall not be held liable for such inability to attend. Under such circumstances, the organisers reserve the right to convert the conference, in whole or in part, to a virtual format. Participants will be duly informed of any such changes, and reasonable efforts will be made to ensure continued access to conference proceedings through online platforms. By registering for the conference, participants acknowledge and accept this condition.
