National and international funded research projects

TREES has been involved in a number of national and international research projects, obtaining external funding as part of research consortia. National and international research projects continue to be a priority for TREES and extremely valuable. They promote internationalisation, networking, research collaborations, multidisciplinary research efforts, research and staff exchange, and co-funding.

However, importantly, they foster a research approach that goes beyond single case studies, comparing various realities using multidisciplinary methods, and improving possibilities to generalise research findings to various contexts globally. These outcomes can improve problem-solving through research and innovations on a global scale, and TREES continues to strive to be part of this vision.
