What's up with WhatsApp?
Covid-19 has brought on many challenges in terms of teaching in the Higher Education context. However, it has also enabled lecturers to incorporate innovative practices into their teaching and learning to engage with students. This podcast provides an overview on how two lecturers, Ms Michelle Groenewald (School of Economic Sciences) and Ms Lerike Jacobs (School of Accounting Sciences,) incorporated WhatsApp into their remote online teaching. Within this podcast Ms Groenewald and Ms Jacobs share their use of Whatsapp in their different modules, provide some insight into the flexibility of this technology for teaching and learning, and focuses on the motive behind incorporating WhatsApp in teaching and learning practices to create a learning experience.

in the professional business world, as well as the academic world is where to from here during the code pandemic and beyond reality is there's been such massive seismic shifts in the education world, the learning world and the professional world, that it's not just an environment where we need to find changes, but it's almost like we're sitting back and doing reconstructive surgery on the way we live on the way we think, and the way we value what's important to us in our lives individually and our families and the society in the US statistically, it had been proven as well as in many places around the world that mainstream universities and institutions of higher learning had moved from fulltime classrooms to online.
