Prof Helen Crompton
Prof. Helen Crompton is the Executive Director of the Research Institute for Digital Innovation in Learning (RIDIL) at ODUGlobal and a Professor of Instructional Technology at Old Dominion University. Holding a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education and Technology in Education, Prof. Crompton specializes in research on technology integration and learning with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, mobile devices, and virtual/mixed/augmented reality. In addition to her academic roles, Prof. Crompton serves as the CEO of Crompton Consulting. She is recognized on Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide and collaborates with numerous organizations and governments globally. Her research has earned international acclaim, with consulting contracts from prominent entities such as the United Nations, Oxford University, Cambridge University, UNHCR, Save the Children, and the World Bank. Prof. Crompton has also contributed to projects with leading companies and agencies, including Google, Apple, USAID, and the University of London.

Koen Suilen combines curriculum development expertise with hands-on experience in generative AI at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. As Curriculum Lead for AI and Business IT programs at Fontys' School of ICT and contributor to the Centre of Expertise AI for Society, he specializes in developing AI professionalization programs and implementing AI tools in educational settings. With nearly a decade of ICT education experience, Koen works actively with various generative AI models to create practical, innovative learning experiences. He recently co-authored "Leven en leren met AI," a guide for students and professionals on responsible use of Generative AI in learning and working environments. Through his work, he empowers educators and learners to engage confidently with AI technologies while maintaining a focus on responsible implementation.
