This professionally-accredited programme is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills to become professional accountants in public practice and business. Financial accounting is a specialised branch of accounting that keeps track of a company’s financial transactions. Students are taught how to use standardised guidelines to record, summarise and present transactions in a financial report/statement, such as the statement of financial position/statement of profit/loss and other comprehensive income. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) The BCom Financial Accountancy degree entitles students to claim exemptions for nine foundation level exams from ACCA.
