  • APS: 28
  • Mathematics: Level 4 (50%)

BCom Financial Accountancy - Extended programme

  • APS: 24
  • Mathematics: Level 3 (40%), or Mathematics Literacy: Level 7 (80%)
  • English: Level 4 (50%)

 South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

The BCom Financial Accountancy degree is accredited by SAICA which enables students to register as an AGA(SA) after completion of a SAICA accredited training contract.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Please note: The BCom honours in Financial Accountancy is accredited with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as a PGDA bridging programme. In other words, students who successfully complete the BCom honours in Financial Accountancy will be able to apply for the PGDA should a student desire at this stage to become a member of SAICA as a chartered accountant.
