TRADE researchers and graduates scoop WTO awards
As part of the WTO Chairs Programme at the North-West University, the WTO awards prizes each year in four categories: the best PhD thesis, the best Master’s dissertation, the most promising honours student and the best article pertaining to a WTO topic. The recipients of these four prizes were honoured at two TRADE-WTO awards functions held at the North-West University in March and August 2015: Dr Ernst Idsardi (best PhD thesis), Mr Francois van Heerden (best Master’s dissertation), Mr Gabriel Mhonyera (most promising honours student), and Ms Antoinette van der Merwe and Prof Wilma Viviers (best article).
