WTO-TRADE policy brief series gets underway
The TRADE research entity has commenced a process of writing policy briefs, aimed at debating meaty economic and trade issues confronting South Africa today and recommending appropriate courses of action from trade policy makers. The first policy brief in the series, released in October 2015 and titled: ‘Policy uncertainty: how it affects South Africa’s growth and development prospects’, was a joint effort between local and international academics, representatives of the Department of Trade and Industry, and selected industry consultants.
