WTO dispute settlement lecture
Dr Gustav Brink, an expert in WTO dispute settlement, visited TRADE on 13 October 2015 to deliver a guest lecture as part of the International Trade Law (ECON 622) honours course. In his lecture, titled 'Dispute settlement in the WTO', Dr Brink provided fascinating insights and several examples of how the WTO's dispute settlement and appellate functions work. He focused in particular on the regulations and processess that countries need to follow in order to lodge a dispute with the WTO and encourage a fair response and resolution.
