Prof Marius Potgieter (deputy director at the Mahikeng Campus) was invited by the Vice Chancellor of the King Ceasor University in Kampala, a private university in Uganda to attend their 5th graduation ceremony. Prof Potgieter and four other international visiting professors were the guests of His Excellency His Majesty King CA Mulenga, the Chancellor. This event celebrated the achievements of King Ceasor University and that of all their graduates. In attendance were diplomats, the Archbishop of Kampala, Cabinet Ministers and the Speaker of Parliament, Chancellors and Vice Chancellors from other universities, and various other dignitaries.
Over 240 qualifications were conferred on graduates from the three schools of the university: School of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences, School of Law and Management Sciences, and the School of Science, Computing and Engineering.
